The Mercedes-AMG GT S is a powerful vehicle in its own right, but German tuner Piecha has created an even more impressive edition of the highly sought-after roadster.
Dubbed the Piecha AMG GT-RSR, the tuner has tweaked things under the hood and in the aerodynamics of the coupe to maximize the car’s performance.
The changes Piecha made add 109 more horses and nearly 140 pound-feet more torque to give the special RSR model a total output of 612 horsepower and 619 pound-feet of torque.
Piecha’s exterior upgrades were designed to reduce the weight and adjust the airflow around the special-edition Mercedes, meaning the RSR can make the zero-to-62 mph sprint in just 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 205 mph.
Piecha also by improved on the electronic suspension of the vehicle with coilovers and gave the RSR Yokohama Advan Sport V105 tires.
The German tuner will only make 50 examples of the Mercedes-AMG GT-RSR, with each Piecha masterpiece costing over $265,000.
