The luxury branch of Hyundai, Genesis, has finally revealed the pricing for its new 2017 headline model, the G90 sedan, and it will begin at $69,050.
The above price is for the rear-wheel drive 2017 G90 3.3T Premium sedan featuring a twin-turbo, 3.3-liter V6 engine that sends its 365 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque through an 8-speed automatic transmission. An all-wheel drive edition of the G90 3.3T Premium will also be available for $2,500 more.
Leather seats, 19-inch alloy wheels, HID headlights, a 22-way power driver’s seat, 16-way power passenger seat, a 12-plus-inch infotainment screen, and a 17-speaker Lexicon 7.1 surround-sound stereo system all come standard with Hyundai’s venture into the luxury car market.
All of the G90 models also come equipped with a bevy of safety features, such as Automatic Emergency Braking with pedestrian detection, Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keep Assist, Smart Blind Spot detection, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Driver Attention Alert, and a few other electronically-enhanced sensors and options.
Genesis will also offer a more powerful version of its flagship model, the G90 5.0 Ultimate, which offers a 5.0-liter V8 powerplant that pumps out 420 horses and 383 pound-feet of twist. The upgraded engine model comes with a $70,650 price tag, with the all-wheel drive 5.0 Ultimate costing, again, $2,500 more. It also boasts power rear seats, illuminated rear-seat vanity mirrors, and full LED headlights.
