Actor and comedian Russell Peters is doubling down on Los Angeles home sales. After listing his Studio City Mediterranean back in July, he’s now letting a much pricier pad onto the market: an $11.95 million two-story on over an acre of Malibu property.
With 10,000 square feet of living space, and a soaring, chandelier-topped foyer with a wraparound balcony for the ages, everything about this home is big. Nine bedrooms and ten bathrooms offer plenty of space for guests, while the family room, with its marble wet bar, is perfect for entertaining them.
There’s also an exercise room, a 10-seat media center, a completely modern Hi-Macs kitchen with vertical tile backsplash and an enormous center island and a tray ceilinged dining room that currently offers service for 10 but looks like it could fit much more.
Walls of glass in the back offer views of the property, which includes a stone patio, a swimming pool and a fire pit, while up to 15 cars can fit on the gate-protected motor court.
The master suite features a huge sitting area, a gray brick fireplace mounted with a television, plush carpeting, a pair of vanities and entry to a wraparound patio.
Peters has gotten acting work in films like 2014’s underrated Chef and 2011’s Source Code, but he is perhaps best known for his stand-up specials, of which The Green Card Tour from 2011 is his most acclaimed. On October 7, Netflix will release a special taped during his most recent tour, dubbed Almost Famous.
