British SUV maker Land Rover is set to reveal a complete rebrand of its Discovery model at the upcoming 2016 Paris Motor Show.
The new design of the seven-seat SUV brings a more lavish feel to the Discovery.
“Land Rover’s design and engineering teams have revolutionized the Discovery DNA to create a highly desirable, extremely versatile, and hugely capable premium SUV,” Land Rover chief design officer Gerry McGovern said in the official press release.
The new Discovery draws its design cues from the Discovery Vision Concept that debuted in 2014. It also falls in line ahead of the smaller Discovery Sport in Land Rover’s current offerings.
Land Rover will bring the new iteration of the Discovery to its sales floors about halfway through 2017. And though pricing hasn’t been released yet, the current Discovery model’s price begins just south of $60,000, so the newly revamped edition will most likely start somewhere a bit above that number.
