French designer Ora-Ϊto revealed that he’d be continuing his partnership with Gorenje at this year’s IFA.

The continued collaboration will introduce a new collection of small and designer appliances that feature a minimal and elegant aesthetic. Ora-Ϊto’s style is completely unique, avoiding easily passing trends by maintaining bold forms and ultra-modern styling.

While sleek and beautiful, the designs are also crafted to appear simple while also offering a complex range of functions. Ora-Ϊto refers to this balance of simplicity of use and complex function as “implexity.”

The designer’s unique style vision continues, too, with dreams of even more simple, fun, and useful designs. “I believe that the functions of the kitchen will be spread out throughout the home. Appliances will also provide connectivity, both among themselves and with the user–so you will be able to start cooking before you even get back home. Entertainment and interactivity will become core elements of every product, making it more fun to use,” said Ora-Ϊto.
