MLB baseballer Chase Utley is looking to unload his Gladwyne, Pennsylvania, home for $2.78 million.
The Los Angeles Dodger player’s digs used to belong to pro-basketball player Allen Iverson and is certainly befit of its athlete owners at 8,141 square feet with a number of luxe amenities.
Utley’s two-story Colonial was built in 1998 and has recently been renovated with a modern aesthetic featuring contemporary light fixtures, a neutral color palette, and wide-plank wood floors. Inside, future owners will enjoy a two-story foyer, an office, formal living and dining rooms, and a playful kitchen with a backsplash made from subway tiles.
Additionally, luxe additions like French doors, a home gym, a wine cellar, and a sports-themed recreation room offer plenty of opportunities for fun and relaxation. With six bedrooms, seven baths, and a spacious master suite in a private, second-story wing, there’s room for friends and family to stay.
The second baseman’s backyard is lush, too, with nearly two acres of space featuring a saltwater pool, a play area, a pool cabana, and plenty of mature trees.
