In case you’ve been living under a rock: last week, Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt after two years of marriage and just over twelve years since the actors fell in love on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. The romance broke up Pitt’s marriage to Jennifer Aniston and became one of the most talked-about celebrity relationships of all-time.

“Brangelina,” it now seems, is over. And while Jolie rides out the media onslaught and waits on Pitt’s next move, she and the couple’s six kids will be staying in Malibu, at an extremely private $95,000-a-month rental.

Barricaded by native vegetation, bamboo and palm trees, the gated home sits on a Point Dume Beach stretch that also houses actors Sean Penn, Anthony Hopkins and Matthew McConaughey. It includes four beds in the main residence and a guest house with a fifth bedroom, a bathroom and an exercise room.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a breakfast bar, while the dining room seats 10. A swimming pool and hot tub share a terrace with lounge seating, and there’s also an outdoor sound system, a fire pit and a barbecue. Indoor amenities include a home theater, a two-way fireplace between the dining room and living room and a wood-clad foyer.

The green tile-topped home, according to the rental agent, is inspired by Balinese spas. It’s perhaps the perfect place for Jolie to ride out a tumultuous moment in her and her children’s lives.
