BMW has decided to offer a glimpse at one of the special models they will debut at the fast-approaching 2016 Paris Motor Show: the new BMW i8 Protonic Silver Edition.

The Protonic Silver follows the same track as the Protonic Red Edition that the German automaker showcased at this year’s Geneva Motor Show.

The customized i8 offers a bespoke exterior with a sleek and stealthy finish, and it’s not like BMW is making this color option a limited edition; the German automaker will make as many of the Protonic Silver i8s as customers want, as long as they are ordered before the end of this year.

Production for the special i8 will begin in December, but there still isn’t a known price to get the unique paint finish on one of BMW’s plug-in hybrid vehicles.

BMW will also show off a recently modified i3, its 3 Series Gran Turismo, and even its C Evolution electric scooter at the upcoming Paris showcase, which begins in early October.
