Longtime television writer and producer Hart Hanson recently added another property to his collection by picking up a California modern bungalow in Venice for $2 million.
The just over 1,200-square-foot home is hidden behind secured gates, a high wall, and a number of lush plants and trees. Inside there are three bedrooms and two baths with an open floor living room and dining room, and honey-hued hardwood floors laid throughout the house.
The kitchen boasts custom navy cabinets paired with cream-toned countertops, and there is also a tile-faced fireplace in Hanson’s new pad. Nearly each room opens up to a deck or patio, with one featuring a cedar hot tub and another lined with bamboo and bougainvillea.
Hanson has worked in the comedic-police-procedural genre for many years, and he is most notably the creator of the long-running show “Bones.”
He also has worked on popular shows such as “Stargate SG-1” and “Judging Amy.” He and his wife, Bridgette, own another home in Venice that they scooped up last year and another house up the golden coast in Big Sur, California, that boasts 180-degree views of the coastline.
