Even though her father has been embroiled in legal trouble of late, French actress and model Lily-Rose Depp has recently made news on her own as one of Chanel’s brand ambassadors for its new fragrance.
The newest version of its famous N°5 fragrance offers a fresh and modern perspective on an iconic scent. Depp can be seen modeling in the new ad campaigns showing off the N°5 L’Eau bottle. Crafted by perfumer Olivier Polge, the fragrance isn’t simply rebranded, it’s a completely unique creation.
“N°5 L’Eau is not a cologne. Nor is it a diluted version of the original fragrance for, at Chanel, each variation is a genuine olfactory creation. N°5 L’Eau is the N°5 of today. A composition under the banner of modernity, with freshness as its leitmotif. L’Eau, for water is essential. L’Eau, in praise of simplicity.”
Available this month, the unique new fragrance sports notes of aldehydes paired with citrus like lemon, mandarin, and orange with a mix of a floral bouquet. The ultimate product evokes scents of cedar, musk, and vetiver.
