Danish design brand Normann Copenhagen took to the recent Maison et Objet Fall 2016 fair in Paris to debut its newest furniture collection.
This series of tables, mirrors, and storage options have been made from solid wood and given the currently popular and simple, refined industrial look. When paired with natural and soft shades, these pieces become an instant fixture in anyone’s home.
The “Journal” desk developed by Simon Legald is one of the new pieces. The desktop of the modern, yet classically styled desk comes in black, white, gray, or light blue color options and is made out of oak wood. It sits atop a light tubular steel frame that recalls iconic French industrial furniture.
Another noteworthy piece of the new Copenhagen collection is the “Slice” series of tables and seating made from oak. There are round tables offered in two sizes, a coffee table, a bar table, and a bench. This versatile set can be used in any space, from furnishing a home, to a restaurant, or even an office space thanks to a Nordic style design that asserts attention to details and proportions to give a light, yet solid and durable feel to the arrangement.
There are also the “Mirror” models of mirrors, a magazine rack, and the “Jet” shelf to round out the rest of Normann Copenhagen’s new collection.
