Fujifilm’s new mirrorless X-A3 camera is a “selfie-optimized” device meant to deliver premium performance for the younger era of photographers and the social media generation.

The X-A3 is Fujifilm’s follow-up to its X-A2 camera, which was also marketed as a camera designed for taking the best selfies. The Japanese brand’s next generation of its selfie catcher comes with a new grip that is better for holding the camera at arm’s length and taking the perfect picture. Weighing in at just 12 ounces also helps make this the perfect selfie cam.

That’s not to say the X-A3 isn’t a great entry-level point-and-shoot. With a 24.2-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor combined with an EXR Processor II image processor, the X-A3 masterfully recreates textures, colors, and skin tones.

Fujifilm’s new camera can also shoot Full HD 1080p video at 60 frames per second. Taking regular pictures is an ease thanks to an autofocus feature that uses 49 focus points in Single Point mode and 77 focus areas in Zone and Wide/Tracking modes.

The X-A3 will be available in October and come in brown, pink, or silver color options with a $600 price tag.
