Garmin has been selling fitness watches since long before they became trendy. Now, with the popularity of Fitbit and Jawbone, Garmin has upped the ante with its brand new Fenix Chronos sports watch.
The updated watch is based on the Fenix 3, but it sports plenty of new advancements. Water resistant to more than 325 feet, the impressive sapphire display helps to prevent scratches while plenty of sensors collect helpful data for the wearer.
Fenix sports an optical heart rate sensor that’s built into the back of the watch, in addition to a barometer, a GPS tracker, an altimeter, and a compass. All those tools allow wearers to track the accuracy of their workouts regardless of whether the wearer is cycling, running, or swimming.
Even better, Fenix also offers users a variety of alerts including email and text notifications, so important information is never farther than a touch away.
Available in titanium and two stainless steel versions, the Fenix Chronos can be paired with a metal or a leather band.
