Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Garret Anderson has just listed his Orange County manse for $10.995 million.

The former Angels outfielder’s home stretches 9,500 square feet and is set on more than an acre in Irvine’s Shady Canyon area. The Spanish-style estate was built in 2009 and sports a front courtyard entrance complete with a brightly tiled fountain.

In addition to archways, clay roof tiles, and a rotunda entry, the home boasts traditional white-plastered interiors with open living areas. The future owner will also enjoy a library, a formal dining room, and a chef’s kitchen with a La Cornue range.

Clearly fit for entertaining, the fun continues with a home theater, a game room and a gym. There’s also a custom-designed wine cellar with an undeniable Old World charm that’s accented with period fixtures, brick walls, and a groin vault ceiling.

Although the six bedrooms and 10 baths are luxurious, it’s the backyard that deserves special recognition, with a swimming pool, pavilion, succulent and rose gardens, courtyards, loggias, lush lawns, and incredible views of the canyon and golf course.

Anderson played for the Angels for 15 seasons, winning a World Series and making three all-star teams. He was inducted into the Angels Hall of Fame earlier this year.
