Kim Kardashian and Kanye West may call Calabasas home most nights, but there’s no denying that New York City is the concrete jungle their dreams are made of. The two multi-platform moguls are frequently lured to the fashion and culture capital. This month, in particular, figures to have KimYe in a New York state of mind: New York Fashion Week commences September 7th, one day after Kanye’s Saint Pablo Tour sees him throw down at Madison Square Garden on September 6th.
Sounds like the power-couple needs a home away from home, and, courtesy of Airbnb, they appear to have found it: a glamorous, 7,000-square-foot Tribeca penthouse, currently on the market for $24.5 million. Not long after checking in, Kim wasted no time taking to Instagram to thank Airbnb for the cushy accommodations and show off its sparkling Hudson River views (at last count, the ‘Gram had 1.2 million likes—Kim sure knows how to work it). The social media queen also broadcast a Snapchast to proclaim her obsession with the five-bedroom, six-bathroom penthouse.
According to the New York Post, the Wests will be in the apartment through late October. They reportedly also scoped out the $28.5 million penthouse of Cary Tamarkin’s 10 Sullivan and the $29.9 million penthouse of 35 North Moore Street, formerly owned by NBA player Deron Williams. It’s been another banner year in the spotlight for the duo: Kim’s Kimoji pack has taken off, bringing her net worth to a staggering $250 million, while Kanye released his seventh studio album, The Life of Pablo, a critically acclaimed and highly experimental work.
