The fitness tracking market is booming, and Polar has seemingly kept up with the competition, recently unveiling its new M600 fitness wearable. The M600, designed to monitor the lifestyles of its wearers with a number of unique features, is meant to rival other tracker makers like Jawbone, Fitbit, and Garmin.
In addition to a wrist-based heart rate monitor and 24/7 tracking of activities and sleep, the M600 is an Android Wear™ smartwatch, so it blends the expertise of two brands to bring users an upgraded fitness tracking experience.
Polar’s M600 tracks progress over various lengths of time, offers daily advice, tracks calories burned using user’s metrics and individual heart rate, and can offer immediate feedback after training. The new timepiece is even specially equipped to track runners with a variety of targets like 5K, 10K, half-marathon, and marathon.
Wearers also have access to their data and sport profiles thanks to Polar Flow and the Flow web service.
