The Mercedes-Maybach S600 is a supreme example of power and luxury that most enthusiasts can only dream of owning. But when Scaldarsi Motors got their hands on an S600 and spared no expense to tune it up, the result was the Emperor I, which is conspicuously bling-ier. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s a sight to behold nonetheless.
Scaldarsi ditched the S600’s V12 and replaced it with the twin-turbocharged, 6.3-liter V12 powerplant from the Brabus Rocket 900. The new engine makes an insane 888 horsepower, pushing the land-yacht sedan from zero-to-62 mph in just 3.7 seconds.
And while the engine clearly separates the Emperor I from the rest of the pack, it is what Scaldarsi has done with the exterior and interior styling of the car that makes it fit for royalty.
Outside, Scaldarsi has removed the chrome grille and replaced it with a rose gold version. Other rose gold accents can be found across the rest of the otherwise black vehicle. The Emperor I was also given a body kit that boasts new side skirts, a bumper, and a rear diffuser, creating new lines.
Inside, drivers will find features such a crocodile-pattern leather dashboard, a one-of-a-kind pattern to the leather on the seats, and rose gold replacing chrome everywhere.
The Scaldarsi Emperor I comes with a $1.5-million price tag. There will be four more Emperor models to come from the workshop based on other luxury cars. If you’re wealthy and insist on showing it, you probably can’t do much better than a Scaldarsi.
