Like many other luxury automakers, BMW recently made an appearance at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California and unveiled a new vehicle.
The German automaker brought its new 2002 Homage concept to the event, but it might look familiar to fans since it’s actually an updated version of the concept brought to Italy’s Villa d’Este Concours d’Elegance earlier this year.
BMW’s enhanced vehicle takes inspiration from the iconic 2002 Turbo race cars that were sponsored by Jägermeister in the 1970s. The updated concept sports a new Turbomeister livery with black, gold, and white turbo emblems.
Since the concept is based on the BMW 2002 Turbo, it’s fair to guess that this vehicle isn’t naturally aspirated, but technical specs haven’t been made available yet. Fans will also still have to wait for detailed images of the car’s interior, but with such a unique exterior look, the interior is unlikely to disappoint.
