Joe D’Ambrosia, the Senior Vice-President of Original Programming at Disney Junior, is $1.225 million richer this week after getting $30,000 more than his asking price for an admirably eclectic Spanish revival home straddling the Silver Lake and Echo Park neighborhoods of Los Angeles.

The 1922-built home greets guests in the front with a tile riser-adorned staircase, a dark wood pergola and an arched façade to the left of the front door. Another pergola covers the Saltillo-tiled back patio which abuts an ivy-draped back wall. Lush green shrubbery abounds on the property, with a bird of paradise bush framing the front entry a densely hedged back lawn.

Inside, the home has 1,630 square feet of living space, with an open living room, a mint-tinted formal dining room and a galley kitchen with a butcher block counter, framed glass cabinetry, stainless steel appliances and a farmhouse sink. The den includes white built-in shelves and a two-tone paint job. Throughout the house, arched doorways keep the Mission vibe alive, while the sleek ceiling fans are an unexpectedly artistic touch.

D’Ambrosia purchased the home back in the early aughts for $540,000. He was promoted to his current position at Disney Junior this April and oversees a portfolio including originals like “Sofia the First,” “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse,” “Doc McStuffins,” “Sheriff Callie’s Wild West” and “Elena of Avalor”—the latter of which is Disney’s first ever property with a Latina princess. Next year, the channel will premiere “Mickey and the Roadster Racers,” a “madcap car-racing adventure” which will serve as the successor to “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.”
