The Outpost Estates home of four-time Emmy-nominee Craig Zisk hit the real estate market this week for $2.8 million. The swanky Hollywood Hills neighborhood is also home to A-listers William H. Macy, Johnny Galecki, Charlize Theron and Felicity Huffman. Zisk, whose nearly 80 directorial credits include The Larry Sanders Show, Weeds, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Scrubs, bought the home in 2005 for a reported $2.5 million.

With a little over 3,500 square feet of space, the five-bedroom, five-bath Spanish revival has plenty of space for a family over its two floors. First constructed in the late 1920s, it was one of the neighborhood’s six original model homes and maintains a number of original details in addition to the updates you’d expect in a hundred-year-old house.

Perched on a steep bluff behind an ivy-trimmed wall, the property includes a graveled courtyard and a prominent two-car garage with living areas on the lower level. Four sets of French doors let light from the backyard into the living room, while a fireplace gives a warm, cozy feel. The dining room also includes French doors, while ceiling-height shelves line the library.

Among the three en-suite bedrooms on the top floor is a master bedroom with walk-in closet, and the eat-in kitchen includes tumbled stone tops on the counter and island, with rich wood cabinetry.

On the back terrace, a hidraulico-tiled fountain and a pergola covered in vines have all the appeal of a European courtyard, while the over-the-trees view of the Los Angeles skyline will remind the next owners of their proximity to an American metropolis.
