German biker maker Schindelhauer has just partnered with English saddle maker Brooks to create the Schindelhauer x Brooks Ludwig VIII Bike.

The new bike was crafted to honor Brooks’ 150th anniversary and it reflects that tribute with a juxtaposition of new and old styling. The design truly is luxe with a lightweight aluminum frame finished in a subtle matte black that allows the classic copper details to boldly stand out.

In addition to the copper rivets on the special-edition Cambium C15 saddle, there are copper rings on the ends of the grips as well for a stylish touch. The eight-gear city bike is incredibly well-made and represents the craftsmanship and style that the Brooks brand has become synonymous with.

Since only 100 examples of the Ludwig VIII bikes will be produced, it’s sure to be a collector’s favorite.
