NBA veteran Tyson Chandler has sold his longtime Riverside, California, home for $798,000. The former 2nd overall pick snatched up the home for $554,000 shortly after his selection in the 2001 NBA draft.

With roughly 4,000 square feet, the home holds five bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, boasting an interior with an open and flowing floor plan. Also inside is a media room, a galley-style kitchen, and fireplaces in the family room and master suite.

The backyard of the house was conceived for entertaining, with amenities like a built-in barbecue, a covered patio, lawns with mature trees, and a gated swimming pool and spa.

Chandler was a two-time Mr. California basketball star at Dominguez High School in Compton before moving on to his ongoing NBA career. His accolades in the Association include an NBA Championship with the Dallas Mavericks in 2011 and NBA Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2012.

Chandler also owns a recently renovated and expanded Hidden Hills, California, property that’s up for sale for $8.995 million.
