American singer Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys is ready to let go of his Lake Arrowhead home. The iconic songwriter has just listed his waterfront house for $3.299 million.
Built in 2011, the California home sports brown-shingle siding, stone accents, and white trim on its exterior and boasts 4,500 square feet of interior space. While tall spires and towers give the roofline a distinctive look, the inside of the home is just as impressive.
Visitors are welcomed via a two-story entry before being led to the formal living room with a fireplace or the chef’s kitchen that’s styled with white subway tile. There’s also sliding glass doors off the main living area that open to a deck that overlooks the lake.
Of all five bedrooms, the master suite is likely the most luxurious with its own fireplace, but new residents will likely want to spend time outdoors among the terrace balconies or out on the lake itself where they’ll find a single, solar-powered dock slip.
As one of the original Beach Boys, Wilson wrote many of the band’s hits, like “Good Vibrations” and was inducted with his group in 1988 into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Wilson and his wife, Melinda, purchased the home for $2.1 million in 2012.
