Businessman Andrew Banks, one of the Sharks on the Australian version of the popular show “Shark Tank” and a figure in the entertainment industry, has listed his 10,500-plus square foot Beverly Hills estate for just under $17.5 million.
The seven-bedroom, 10-bathroom home and its surroundings were recently refreshed as early as 2012, when Banks purchased the parcel for $9.2 million.
Banks’ home boasts a formal living room with a fireplace, an upgraded kitchen, a staff suite, and a master suite that holds two fireplaces and a pair of walk-in closets. Additional luxe amenities include an elevator, a movie theater, a gym, and yoga studio.
Outside, the new owners will surely enjoy a built-in grill, a pool with a cabana area, plenty of grass and landscaping, and a one-bed, one-bath guesthouse.
In 2010, Banks had some luck when he sold his Sydney, Australia, mansion with views of the famed Sydney Harbor for $52 million. He also currently owns a space in the Mid-Levels area of Hong Kong.
