Superstar baseballer Bryce Harper has just purchased a new Henderson, Nevada, home for $2.7 million.

Set just outside of Las Vegas, the star outfielder for the Washington Nationals should be happy with his new purchase of a 7,400-square-foot gated manse. The five-bedroom, five-bath home was completed just last year and sports a unique aesthetic of a contemporary spin on the Prairie School style.

Outside, visitors are welcomed by a symmetrical front with concrete steps leading to a frosted-glass front door and bands of casement windows. However, the inside is what truly impresses with a vaulted foyer complete with an ornamental garden feature and a floating wood-and-steel staircase.

Additional features like an undulating water wall, raised ceilings, a game room with an additional kitchenette, and a glass-enclosed wine wall with storage for 360 bottles give the home its luxury appeal. The kitchen continues that luxe feel with quartzite countertops, an island/bar, modern fixtures, and a wet bar with a glass pop-up counter.

The National League’s reigning MVP will also enjoy his new master suite, which is decked out with a spa-like bath, fireplace, and walk-in closet. Those features are in addition to the pocketing glass doors off the family room that open to a swimming pool, raised spa, and impressive views of the Las Vegas Strip.
