At $30M, the Priciest Home in Vegas History

The Las Vegas home of late businessman David Jin has landed on the market with a $30-million price tag.

Jin, who is known for building the Skywalk, a horseshoe-shaped bridge that extends out into the Grand Canyon, named his six-story home SkySide. Its sky-high price makes it the most expensive home on the market in Sin City.

The house was just completed under the watchful eye of Jin’s wife, Yvonne Tang since Jin passed away in 2013 while the contemporary home was still under construction.

SkySide measures in at about 24,000 square feet and features five bedrooms, three elevators, a three-floor master suite, an indoor basketball court, a karaoke room, and a hair salon.

Of course, the outdoors are luxurious, too, with an outdoor kitchen with a custom pizza oven, a retractable screen for outdoor movies, a swimming pool with a swim-up bar, and a 5,000-square-foot rooftop garden.

Situated on a 1.25-acre property in the Summerlin neighborhood of Las Vegas, Jin and Tang purchased the land for $1.95 million and spent roughly $30 million building the bespoke property. The furnishings in the home alone add up to around $2.5 million.

Should the $30 million asking price be achieved, it will blow out the record for the former most expensive home, which currently goes to David Copperfield’s new $17.55 million Summerlin property.
