Right before he was holding hands with Lionel Richie’s daughter in Japan this week, Justin Bieber was living it up on Hawaii’s Big Island with then-rumored girlfriend, Australian model Sahara Ray. How flighty young love can be.
The “Sorry” singer brought Ray and 10 friends along to the fabulous Water Falling, a $3,976-a-night, five-bedroom estate on the eastern coast of Big Island. Situated on nine acres with uninterrupted ocean views, the 8,100-square-foot pad made for the perfect getaway, with two private waterfalls, a koi pond an Olympic-sized pool and a rooftop helipad, which—judging from the musician’s Instagram posts—may have gotten some use during the stay.
The three-story villa includes an enormous formal living space decorated with an island mid-century vibe, a wet bar, a sauna, a tennis/basketball court in oceanic blue, multi-tiered terraces, and even a water slide. The rental also includes a home gym with bikes, treadmills and free weights, as well as a grand piano in the foyer, so if Bieber needed any “me time,” he had ample opportunity to work on his righteous physique or his next song.
The two en suite master bedrooms include separate showers and whirlpool bathtubs, large walk-in closets and sitting areas with televisions. A third bedroom sits inside the main house, while two more can be found in the separate guest house.
And a vacation isn’t a vacation without good eating, so while we doubt the young A-listers made their own meals, we’re sure they enjoyed the fruits of the well-appointed chef’s kitchen. Among its amenities are a gas stove, wine coolers and granite countertops, and while the dining room table only seats eight, the four other guests could have enjoyed their meals at the countertop bar. No word on who got to sit at the adult table.
