While those lucky enough to attend the Geneva Motor Show end up seeing incredible vehicles and car designs, it’s pretty rare that the concept vehicles presented are actually brought to market. However, this is one of those times.
Meet the Icona Vulcano, which is now available for $2.78 million. The impressive titanium-bodied supercar was first introduced at Pebble Beach last year, but few ever expected the car to even make it to limited production. Yet that’s exactly what’s happening with the Vulcano, which is scheduled to appear at a series of auto shows in the next several months.
While most supercars are unique, the Icona Vulcano truly is just that with a bare metal build that features several hidden triangles across the body. The inside is luxe, too, with carbon-fiber racing seats, a 12.3-inch display, and an added screen that replaces the gauge cluster under the dash.
The dynamic and muscular exterior is matched internally with a 6.2-liter supercharged OHV 16 valve engine that’s able to produce 670 horses. Sporting the same engine as the Corvette ZR1, the Icona can dash from zero-to-60 mph in just 2.8 seconds before reaching a top speed of 220 mph.
