Everyday smartphone users are already able to capture incredible photos on their iPhones. Now, thanks to Zeiss’ new lenses, amateur iPhone photogs will be able to take their smartphone images to the next level.
Zeiss has been working to improve the photography industry for more than 170 years, but the brand’s lenses are usually priced in the thousands. However, the company has just unveiled its newest iPhone add-on with tech usually reserved for DSLRs thanks to a collaboration with ExoLens.
The new lenses are attached to an iPhone 6/6s and Plus using a sleek and modern aluminum skeletal-inspired system that has a tripod-compatible base.
Who knows, maybe one of Zeiss’ customers will shoot a video that ends up on the Apple commercials that have recently been debuting iPhone-captured photography. The professional add-on lenses are available at Apple.com starting at $199.95.
