Chevrolet has really hit the mark with this year’s edition of the Corvette Grand Sport, recalling the original groundbreaking 1963 model perfectly, while giving it every possible bell and whistle of modern technology to make the 2017 example a sight to behold when it rolls past.

Over 50 years of evolution has clearly made the difference for the Corvette Grand Sport, and the 2017 model is nothing to balk at with track-derived aerodynamics, a lightweight build, and a naturally aspirated engine that churns out impressive power.

At the heart of all the Grand Sport Corvettes is a LT1 6.2-liter V8 beast that makes 460 horsepower and propels the ultra-light Corvette Grand Sport to a blazing zero-to-60 mph split of 3.6 seconds.

The Grand Sport edition Corvettes are available in all of Chevy’s interior and exterior color schemes. There are also two additional variations of the Grand Sport models, the Heritage Package and the Collector Edition.

The Heritage Package boasts exterior hash-mark fender graphics in six color options, with the same hash-mark design feature continued on the brushed aluminum trim inside the cabin.

The Collector Edition is exclusively finished in Watkins Glen Gray Metallic and comes with Tension Blue hash-mark graphics, black wheels, and a Tension Blue leather and suede interior. These limited-edition Grand Sports will also come with special embossed head rests and special numbered plaques on the instrument panel. Tension Blue is based off of the color featured on the five examples of the original 1963 Corvette Grand Sport models.
