Jaquet Droz is known for creating intricate and artfully crafted watches, so it’s no surprise that the brand’s new line is catching the eyes of watch lovers everywhere.

The new Petite Heure Minute Thousand Year Lights pays tribute to the simple beauty of flowers, with a delicate bouquet of blooms on the watch’s dial. Fine and elegant, the design is captivating thanks to a Korean technique called “Najeon Chilgi.”

That special technique involves using mother-of-pearl encrusted lacquer and adding polish so the floral look has depth and careful detail. Dubbed the Thousand Year Lights, the radiance and color of the flowers surely stays true to the watch’s name.

Available in five variants, customers can choose from a 39 mm red gold case, a 35 mm red gold case, or a 35 mm red gold case set with diamonds, but there’s also the choice to opt for a 35 mm or 39 mm gold case set with diamonds.

The interior of the timepiece is impressive, too, with a Jaquet Droz 2653.P, self-winding mechanical movement complete with balance-spring and pallet-fork horns in silicon, double barrel, flat bridges and an incredible 18-carat white gold oscillating weight. That’s all complete with a power reserve of 68 hours.
