Actor Galen Gering has just unloaded his Hollywood Hills, California, home. The “Days of Our Lives” star was able to sell the property for $2.55 million, which is close to a million more than the asking price.

Listed at $1.695 million, the tree-topped home went from listing to sale in roughly a month. Often described as a “mystical Shangri-la,” the 1920s Spanish Revival-style house spans 2,200 square feet with three bedrooms and four bathrooms.

The soap star’s estate is fenced and gated and holds a spa, several patios, an open-air meditation house, an outdoor fireplace, and tall bamboo and tropical landscaping.

Inside, the home maintains hints to its original aesthetic with arches, wrought ironwork, and artful tile risers. There’s also a formal living room with beamed ceilings and a fireplace that’s adjacent to a dining room and an arcade.

Gering and his wife, model-actress Jenna Gering, purchased the home for $755,000 in 2000, and they surely enjoyed the home’s deck complete with a Banyan tree and incredible views of the city.
