The NFL’s Rams franchise kicked off their return to Los Angeles this Saturday with their first training camp practice, and Pro Bowl Defensive End Robert Quinn will have a luxe spot to rest his head (and ice his feet) when he’s done at practice. The pass rusher recently purchased a newly built home in the Agoura Hills community for $4.25 million.
The modern Mediterranean boasts a saltwater swimming pool and spa; a 770-bottle wine vault; a home theater with soundproof walls; and a family room with wet bar, 80-inch flat-screen, and built-in surround sound audio system.
The 7,200-square-foot home sits on about three-quarters of an acre with a mountain view visible from the back lawn or the fireplace-equipped cabana adjacent to the pool.
Among the five-bedrooms is a master suite with his and hers closet, a private balcony and a fireplace. A two-story foyer includes a gorgeous chandelier and white quartzite wall, while an open plan living area bounces dark hardwood floors off a lighter wood ceiling and leads to a kitchen with chic floating shelves, an eight-burner stove and stainless steel appliances. The home also includes seven bathrooms. It was originally listed for $5 million in March, before coming down to $4.5 million a few months ago.
Quinn, who is entering the third year of his six-year, $65.6 million contract, has tallied 50 sacks in his five seasons as a Ram. He’s twice been voted to the Pro Bowl and was named first-team All-Pro in 2013. The 14th overall pick in the 2011 draft, Quinn’s current deal makes him one of the most handsomely compensated players on the team.
