Comedian Russell Peters, who Forbes has listed as one of the top ten highest-paid comics in the world, is about to free up an extra $3 million dollars if he has his way. The Canadian funnyman of Indian descent recently put his Studio City residence on the market for $2,999,999.

The 5,857-square-foot hillside home sits on a half-acre lot. In addition to the five bedrooms, it boasts six-bedrooms, a guesthouse, a swimming pool, and a soaring three-story foyer with skylight. Also included are a home gym; a living room with wet bar and unique, contemporary chandelier; a media center with seven theater seats; a kitchen with large center island/bar and stainless appliances; and a dining area with built-in cabinetry.

Off the master bedroom, you’ll find a walk-in closet and a contemporary bathroom equipped with a sauna, as well as a balcony—one of five that can be seen from the house’s front. A hemispheric motor court that can fit up to ten cars leads to a pair of double-wide garages, while the backyard includes terrace views of Coldwater Canyon. A state-of-the-art home automation system allows the owner to control audio, security and light systems.

Peters, who was the first comedian to sell out Toronto’s Air Canada Centre in 2007, was the host of the 2008 Juno Awards, the second-highest rated Juno ceremony of all time.

Among his other properties are a two-bedroom condo at the northern end of the Las Vegas strip, a gated home in nearby Henderson, a Colonial in the Woodland Hills area of Los Angeles and an ocean-view home in Malibu, which he purchased for $4.75 million in 2014, the same year he served as a judge on NBC’s Last Comic Standing.
