Christian Louboutin may be known for his signature red soles, but now the luxury accessory designer is teaming up with the French E-concept store SportyHenri.com in honor of the Cuban National delegation’s upcoming appearance at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.

As official supplier of the celebratory outfit, the luxe brand will outfit athletes for formal occasions and, most notably, the closing ceremony. Taking cues from Cuban heritage and the strength of the athletes themselves, the collection is truly inspiring.

The Cuban delegation of more than 100 athletes will be clothed in high-end pieces that were crafted with athletic builds in mind and the consultation of former Olympians.

Featured styles include the loafer style Naza Star for men and the high-top trainer, both of which sport a calf leather construction. Female athletes will sport sleek and glamorous kitten heel sandals.

Clothing pieces in the collection include perfectly tailored jackets in red for men and beige for women, in addition to interchangeable trousers and shorts, with a skirt option for women.

“We designed the celebratory outfit for the moment they turn back into humans, still in that glory moment, still in their light but heading back to the real world. We really want them to continue feeling amazing in their skin while looking astonishing,” said Henri Tai, founder of SportyHenri.com.
