Tech startup Hello has just introduced its newest creation, Sense.

Sense is more than a basic alarm clock—it also acts as a sound machine and a sleep monitor. The smart alarm features a variety of sensors to help measure a user’s sleep for better rest and to make sure the room is appropriate for a good night’s rest.

It actually comes with a unique motion-sensing pill that is attached the user’s pillow, and it communicates directly with Sense. The sleeper can view the data via the companion app that is able to convey information like a room’s air quality, temperature, humidity, noise, brightness, and temperature.

Based on the data, Sense will then offer recommendations on how sleepers can alter those elements for a better night’s sleep. It automatically detects when the user goes to sleep, falls asleep, and then proceeds to monitor the user’s rest patterns. A sleep score is then provided the next day.
