Walkera has just amped up its flagship camera drone with two awesome updates.

The Voyager 4 sports a gimbal-stabilized, 360-degree camera complete with a 16x optical zoom lens that’s capable of a maximum 1500mm focal length. Moreover, it doesn’t have a limit on control range since both the controller and the drone are connected to 4G internet.

However, it’s the new drone’s telephoto zoom capabilities that are truly impressive. Even after two other brands launched new drones with increased zoom power, the Walkera Voyager 4 still packs the most punch with a 16x optical zoom that’s the equivalent of a 10-1500mm lens.

The manufacturer claims that operators will be able to capture images at maximum zoom from as far as .62 miles away. Walkera is offering the zoom camera as an option, and the gimbal-stabilized superzoom camera only shoots 1080p. Meanwhile, the fixed wide lens can shoot 4K with the ability to rotate the camera in any direction.

The Voyager 4’s other killer new feature is the ability for it to be configured to operate using its own Wi-Fi network with a range of around .9 miles. What’s so amazing is that with 4G control, an operator could literally fly a drone in Los Angeles while controlling it from Beijing.

Voyager 4 is also launching with a new controller, the Devo F18, and pricing has yet to be released.
