Teaming up for their first joint production, DJI and Hasselblad have come out with a fully equipped, top-of-the-line aerial camera platform bundle.
The bundle combines a Hasselblad A5D aerial medium format camera with DJI’s M600 flying platform. With the A5D camera owners of the joint venture get the world’s most advanced aerial optics and sensors along with the M600, which is one of the industry’s premier aerial platforms.
The M600 comes with an A3 flight controller, 6 batteries, a dust-proof propulsion system, and a Lithbridge 2 Professional HD transmission system. Hasselblad’s A5D features a 50 mm lens, sensors nearly double the size of modern DSLR cameras, and Hasselblad’s Natural Color Solution (HNCS), which optimizes tricky color gradations.
Hasselblad and DJI teaming up for the A5D-M600 project should be a sign of more joint ventures to come after the Chinese drone company’s investment in the Sweden-based camera maker.
