Patek Philippe & Company’s Ref. 5930 World Time Chronograph is a timepiece to marvel at and one that will surely become a favorite in any watch lover’s collection.
The Ref. 5930 is inspired by a world time chronograph made by Patek Philippe in 1940, but in true Patek Philippe fashion, the vintage nature comes with a modern twist. This model is probably the thinnest and smallest world time chronograph ever produced.
Inside of the 39.5 mm white gold case is a watch face boasting 24 time zones and a 30-minute flyback chronograph, which is the first time Patek Philippe has ever combined both features. The Swiss watchmaker has even made a new caliber for the Ref. 5930, dubbed the CH 28-520 HU, which blends two of the company’s best movements into one.
Other features of the Ref. 5930 include a sapphire-crystal case back that allows a peek at the movement, a 100-foot water resistance, and a $73,700 price tag.
