Former Chargers Coach Norv Turner Just Getting Around to Selling San Diego Home

The former head coach of the San Diego Chargers, Norv Turner, has listed his home in the Mission Beach neighborhood of San Diego for $1.549 million. It’s about time, as Turner left the Chargers a couple years ago now and has been working as the offensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings since 2014.

Perhaps it’s the beachfront location that made the home so hard to part with, especially after Turner’s fall and winter stints coaching in snowy Minnesota. Featuring views of the Point Medanos coast and its beach volleyball courts, the home sits on the top floor of its residential building. It includes three bedrooms, three baths, an elevator, a kitchen with a breakfast bar and the requisite dining and living rooms as well as a two-car garage.

In his time as coach of the Chargers, Turner compiled a 56-40 record with three AFC West championships. This is just one of Turner’s Los Angeles-area properties, so he’ll still be able to escape the cold in the NFL offseason.

Turner purchased the home in 2012 for $1.2 million.
