Actress Mischa Barton has finally unloaded her Los Angeles home. The former “O.C.” star sold her manse for $7.05 million after years on and off the market.

Barton purchased the 1.2-acre estate settled in the star-studded Beverly Hills Post Office area more than 10 years ago for $6.4 million. However, after several defaulted mortgage payments in recent years, she was sent a Notice of Trustee’s Sale revealing a remaining principal sum of more than $4.3 million.

Set behind private hedges and a gate, there are three guest houses in addition to the eight-bedroom, 10-bath main house. It’s truly ideal for any celebrity owner at 9,800 square feet with six fireplaces, an eat-in kitchen, a library, and a master suite complete with his-and-hers steam rooms.

The exterior grounds are luxurious, too, with lush lawns, multiple patios, a swimming pool, and reaching views as far as Catalina Island.

Before its recent sale, Barton’s home was first listed for $8.695 million in 2011, then it was offered for lease at $30,000 a month, and finally it was listed more recently for $7.795 million.
