To celebrate the 10th anniversary of its first release, the Founders watch, Linde Werdelin has launched its third-generation collection with the new LW 10-24 GMT.
But before you get your hopes up, you should know that the LW 10-24 GMT will be available for purchase by Linde Werdelin’s invitation only—as was the case with the release of the 10-year-old company’s first timepiece. With two models of the limited edition watch to be made and only 96 examples per model, just 192 people will have a chance to own this unique GMT watch.
The LW 10-24 GMT is 44mm wide by 46mm long, and its case and bezel were designed with legibility in mind. The hands are skeletonized in a pattern Linde Werdelin calls Trigon, and the lume used to light up the dial and hands is the same formula featured on Danish military diving watches. It should also be noted that the 10-24 GMT is water resistant for up to just over 325 feet.
As a new piece, the LW 10-24 GMT comes with a new movement—one Linde Werdelin is calling its manufacture LW08—that powers all three complications and has a 42-hour power reserve.
One of Linde Werdelin’s two examples of the 10-24 GMT is available in an 18k rose gold case, while the other comes with a 3DTP carbon outer shell. The rose gold edition runs for $39,700, and the 3DTP costs roughly $27,500.
