Four-time All-Star and eight-time Gold Glover Jim Edmonds and his wife, reality television star Meghan King Edmonds, are looking to sell their Newport Beach home for $3.4 million.
That’ll represent a tidy profit on the $2.79 million they paid for the Tuscan-style two-story last year, though the couple’s extensive interior renovations will more or less make the sale a wash.
Contemporary updates on the timeless European design include Quartz countertops, dark wood flooring and stainless kitchen appliances, and the living and dining areas are both done in a formal style.
The home also includes five bedrooms, 5.5 baths, three-car garage, a great room and a patio with tall hedges providing privacy. In a bold contemporary/rustic mash-up, the master bedroom includes a fireplace, a sliding barn door and a sleek bathroom with stand-up shower and a soaking tub.
Edmonds, who won a World Series title with the St. Louis Cardinals in 2006, works now as an analyst for Fox Sports Midwest, while his wife Meghan is a cast member on “The Real Housewives of Orange County.”
