After a couple of price reductions and some time off the market, former supermodel and creator of America’s Next Top Model Tyra Banks has finally sold the Los Angeles home she first listed last September for $6.4 million. That’s nearly $1.5 million less than the first listing of $7.75 million.

The four-bedroom house has a Beverly Hills zip code and includes about 6,000 square feet of living space with a calming aesthetic to the interiors that can be attributed to Banks’ $2 million renovation.

The terra cotta roof and exposed beam ceilings are all original to the 1920s design, lending an aura of authenticity to the mansion. Banks first purchased the home for $3.085 million back in 2004. The buyer chose to remain anonymous, but it’s been revealed that he is an American businessman who will be returning his family stateside after a spell in Europe.

Banks will stay in the Los Angeles area, where she purchased a new Malibu home last year.
