Prada has partnered with Italian eyewear brand Luxottica to develop a luxurious new eyewear collection.
The new “Mod” line includes a variety of graphic glasses that sport fun geometric frames. The frames feature classic muted colors mixed with neutrals to blend traditional with a flair of funk. Model Vanessa Moody can be seen sporting the shades as the face of the label’s new digital film campaign.
Interested buyers can pick up a pair of the optical frames for $350, while the sunshades are priced at $430.
Since Prada suffered a 26.6-percent drop in profits last year, the iconic luxury brand is hoping to strike a cord by offering Mod to both new and constant customers. As an added bonus, Luxottica celebrated 2.5-percent sales growth in the first quarter this year.
