MINI may be a brand that isn’t quite 100 years old yet, but its parent company BMW has already given the maker of cool small cars a plan for its next 100 years with its new MINI Vision Next 100.
The special MINI concept joins the BMW Vision Next 100 and the Rolls-Royce Vision Next 100.
MINI’s Vision Next 100 keeps with its company goal of placing a special emphasis on personal customization and the idea that all cars will be autonomous within the next few decades.
One of the cool features the MINI Vision Next 100 includes is the ability to change the colors of the exterior. Another addition is the adaptable infotainment system that adjusts to the preferences of its user.
MINI has also included the option for the driver to take charge of the car, so while it is a fully autonomous vehicle, there is still a nod to those who love driving. Additionally, the MINI concept boasts a zero-emission powertrain of an unspecified design.
MINI has only been around since 1959, but it’s known for being economical in both function and design. The Vision Next 100 concept maintains those ideals since it’s made of recycled aluminum, plastic, brass, basalt, and cellulose.
