Gucci has created a new customization service called Gucci DIY that will debut in the Italian brand’s Via Montenapoleone store in Milan, Italy.

Gucci DIY will create personalized jackets created out of silk, leather, or suit fabrics. And not just a couple of jackets, every kind of jacket Gucci offers from silk bombers, moto jackets, and blazers meant for black-tie events will be available for customization.

The sky is the limit for customers joining Gucci DIY. Many known patterns such as floral, animal, and insect prints, along with lettering and other options, can now be applied to make a bespoke jacket.

Gucci seems to be wisely capitalizing on the current trend of offering customers a way to make everything down to the shirt on their backs one-of-a-kind.
