Quarterback Josh Freeman was released by the Indianapolis Colts earlier this year, and now the journeyman is hoping to let go of his Florida mansion for $2.19 million.
Freeman has played for several teams since the start of his pro career back in 2009 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and now the QB’s future is a bit unclear as he himself is back on the market. Since it’s quite unlikely he’ll be teaming up with the Bucs again this season, it’s not surprising that he’s trying to unload his Tampa home.
The Mediterranean-style manse stretches across three stories and holds six bedrooms. Features like a clay roof, a raised first floor, and several private terraces give the home a personality of its own.
Additionally, the new owners won’t be surprised to find columns in the foyer, oversized double doors, a sweeping spiral staircase, tray ceilings, oversize windows, and plenty of fireplaces within the impressive home. Even the master bathroom sports intricate Venetian-style columns.
Aside from luxurious features, there’s also plenty of opportunity to kick back and relax with a media room, a game room, an elevator, an outdoor kitchen, and a heated pool.
Freeman purchased the home for $1 million back in 2010, so he’s in a position to make a nice return on his investment.
