Sitting on Lake Oswego in Oregon is a 13,462-square-foot mansion that developer Jeff Parker built in 2006, just after purchasing the last undeveloped lakefront parcel for $800,000.

Parker’s dream home was fought tooth and nail by locals who felt that his megamansion built on two 10-foot retaining walls was too grand for the quaint Lake Oswego area. After just five years of enjoying the property, Parker listed the home for $11.6 million in 2011.

Since the home didn’t sell, despite re-listing the property in 2014, Parker has now raised the stakes and the asking price for his five-bedroom house to $15 million, making it Oregon’s most expensive home listing.

The price tag is easy to recognize when looking at the house. The basalt rock exterior is accentuated by copper clad windows, there are two waterfalls, an infinity pool, a covered entertainment area outside, and an indoor on-water boat garage with hydraulic lifts for two boats.

Inside, the home is grand with 26-foot high ceilings in the great room, eight fireplaces, a media room, a game room, a gym complete with a sauna, radiant floor heating throughout the house, and an impressive chef’s kitchen that boasts two granite-topped islands and Venetian plaster walls.
