Yuneec already equipped its Typhoon H drone with the ability to avoid collisions with large objects, but now the flying camera will be able to avoid anything in its path and keep moving around obstacles thanks to Intel RealSense technologies.

The Typhoon H has been given a factory-installed Intel RealSense R200 camera and an Intel Atom processor module to map the drone’s environment in 3D. It will even be able to autonomously maneuver around its surroundings and re-route itself should anything get in its way.

Expected to ship out by the end of July, the Typhoon H comes with the drone with the Intel module, an Intel Atom-powered ST16 controller with a built-in 7-inch touchscreen, a super compact second controller dubbed the Wizard, two batteries, extra propellers, and a custom backpack to schlep it around in.

Some of the features Yuneec still offers with its popular camera drone are 4K video capture with a 720p real-time feed to the touchscreen of the controller, retractable landing gear, and folding arms for easy storage.

The upgrades come with a $600 price increase from the original Typhoon H, meaning it will cost $1,900. For people who already own a Typhoon H, Yuneec announced that it is going to offer an add-on module, but details have yet to be released.
